I was just informed that the Triple Tiara consists of the Chestnut Stakes, the Players' Club Coaching Oaks (? name), and the Birmingham, which totally makes my article about the Triple Tiara this week look, well, nothing short of silly.  I regret the error and apologize for it.
 
See, I was confused initially last year, because the game coincides so much with real life, that when I saw those three filly races on derby, middle jewel, and new yorker day, I think I was told they are the Tiara races here.  So my initial thought was, "Wow, this can't be right.  The game mirrors real life so much, that this would be one of the few (huge) variations in the game from real life."  That's why I asked around.  When we made the videos of the Chestnut and the New Yorker Stakes last year, I think I even mentioned in the Chestnut article that it was the third leg of the Tiara.  (not sure about that fact, because last year was our first year, but I think I did mention that....anyway, moving on.) 
 
 
I know, in real life, this is not true; the RL tiara consists of the Acorn, the CCA Oaks and the Alabama.   Now, according to my research, the Tiara has changed over the years--several times in fact, in real life.   I mean, anyone who's been around horse racing for any appreciable amount of time knows that.  That's why the three filly races here coinciding with the boys' races confused me.  When I researched some game articles in the past, they referred to the filly races corresponding with the boys' Triple Crown races as the Sim's Tiara races, so I ran with it last year, and again this year.       
 
 
I apologize for the error, and I will correct it in future years, if this is indeed the case.  I just want to make sure what the game's version of the Tiara is.
 
 
It's not a big deal, other than my glaring error, of course.  The important thing (for me, at least) is to get it right in the future. 
 
 
So if anyone wants to chime in about the game's Tiara, please, do so here.  I would definitely appreciate it.  It's all about transparency, for me.  I just want to get it right.  That's the important thing for me.    
 
 
 
There's no shame in making an error--at least not for me.   The shame would be in not pointing out my error and trying to have it corrected.   So please, if you know for a fact what the game's version of the Tiara consists of, I would love for people to post here and tell me, so I can correct it in the future.  Thanks, everyone for being so understanding.  I'm sure this is just a rookie mistake I made, if this is the case.

Very informative article marmac. But having worked at the Track and living and working with a Track Vet. It is not news to me. I do believe that most owners are oblivious to what is actually going on.
